Yad B’Yad integrates Jewish culture and holidays and an introduction to Hebrew words and prayers. Our goal is to provide a safe, warm, loving and nurturing environment infused with Jewish values where children six weeks of age through five years can grow emotionally, socially, cognitively, intellectually, physically and spiritually and develop into lifelong learners. Yad B’Yad provides an opportunity for young children to play, learn and grow together in a rich Jewish play-based environment.
Our closely knit group of teachers, children and parents is a vibrant community. YBY seeks to bring Jewish values and traditions to life within our school. Jewish celebrations throughout the year include our weekly Shabbat with the children, Family Shabbat, Hanukkah Lights Night, Tu B’Shvat family picnic, Purim carnival, and Sukkot festival events for our families. Temple Emanuel welcomes YBY families to join for High Holidays services and celebrations as well as Temple events throughout the year. Everyone is welcome at the many Temple-wide activities and holiday celebrations.
